CosmoReadathon TBR

If you follow CosmoReaders on twitter, you’ll already know that today is the day the CosmoReadathon starts. If not, you know now! Cosmo Readers is an online book club with readers all over the world. You can join the group on goodreads, where you can also find more information on the readathon. I’ll be one of the people hosting reading sprints on twitter, so if you’re on twitter, come join us! The readathon lasts from today, the 17th, till Saturday the 23d.

I’ve tried to pick a book for the five challenges posted on the Cosmo Readers goodreads account. You don’t have to join the challenges to participate in the readathon, though! I’m not sure if I’ll even be able to finish them. Here’s my TBR:

  1. Buddy-read a book: The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett. I’m reading this with The Magic Book Club this month.
  2. Read a book from your wishlist/immediate TBR pile: Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I’ve got to catch up on the Robin Hobb readalong with the HobbSquad!
  3. Read a book you never heard of before (and avoid any reviews until you have finished): Turtle Island by Eldon Yellowhorn and Kathy Lowinger. I actually finished this today, and I’ll post a review soon!
  4. Read a book borrowed from the library or a friend, etc.: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. I highly doubt I will finish this this week, but my friend wants it back by December so I’ve got to read it!
  5. Read an independently published book: Here, the World Entire by Anwen Kya Hayward. I’ve been wanting to read this little book ever since I bought it, so now’s the perfect time.

Are you joining the CosmoReadathon? Which books are you reading? Are you joining the reading sprints on twitter? Let me know in the comments!
