About me

About me

Hello reader, and welcome to Putting Wings on Words. My name is Isa and my pronouns are they/he. I’m a classics student from the Netherlands with a fondness for Greek mythology, books, travel and writing. This is where I talk about all of those things. Take a look around, and if you like what you see, follow to receive email updates whenever I publish a new post.

The blog title Putting Wings on Words is derived from the Homeric phrase ‘winged words’. Apart from being a reference to the Iliad and the Odyssey, it conveys the feeling of anxiety I get whenever I put my words out in the world. Yay!
